The MAFL website's major purpose is to provide a vehicle for me to write about my halting attempts to analyse various aspects of the game known as Australian Rules Football and my even more halting attempts to predict the outcome of games played during the course of a season.

I'm a statistical model-builder and data analyst by day so MAFL also provides me with a fantastic platform for honing my analytical and communication skills .
